Denise Giddens

Denise Giddens has spent the past twelve years advocating for EMS and Fire Services, and has an outstanding track-record in assisting services in seeking out and securing funding. She is nationally known for her efforts on behalf of EMS for Children. During her service as Director of Indiana EMS-C, she developed innovative, award winning, and highly successful programs.

Throughout her career, Giddens has had a powerful, creative influence on many fire departments and not-for-profit organizatons throughout the country, assisting them in procuring millions of dollars in grants. Among many honors, she has been involved with the National Fire Protection Association as State Coordinator for Risk Watch, and serves as grant reviewer for the U.S. Fire Administration Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

Giddens is an accomplished public speaker and advocate for public safety, and continues to champion the cause of first response in her work as grant writer and resource identification professional. She is available for consultation in her areas of expertise: program development, resource identification, grant writing,
EMS-C, and public affairs programs.
